Glass belongs anywhere except a wet floor
A mirror in the shower is the one place glass makes no sense. Wet hands, a tiled floor, and bare feet are a bad combination, and a heavy glass mirror on an adhesive hook is a countdown. So most people lean over the sink instead, wipe a patch clear with a forearm, and shave half blind.
This one is acrylic. Drop it on tile and it stays in one piece. Hang it, lift it off, throw it in a bag, and nothing about that worries you.
Acrylic, not glass
- Takes a knock on a hard floor without breaking
- Light enough to live in a wash bag
- No shards to sweep out of a shower tray
- Wipe it with a soft cloth, and skip abrasive cleaners
Hangs without a drill
- A hole is moulded into the top
- Put a hook where you want it and drop the mirror on
- Lifts straight off, so it comes down for cleaning or travel
- Hang it at your eye level, not wherever the builder put the cabinet
Not only the shower
- In the shower, at face height, so you do not have to step out
- In a wash bag, flat beside a toothbrush
- In a gym locker, where nothing is allowed to break
- In a dorm room, a van or a tent, on any hook or rail
Size
5.11 x 6.69 in (13 x 17 cm) and 0.1 in (0.26 cm) thick. About the footprint of a paperback, enough to see your whole face.
Good to know
- One mirror per order
- A hook is not pictured and may not be included, so check before you order
- Steam will mist any mirror. Rinsing the face with warm shower water first keeps it clear for longer
